California Sunflowers

Barbara Jeffery Clay is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society,NWS, Southwestern Watercolor Society,SWS, WAS-H (Watercolor Art Society-Houston) and TWS (Texas Watercolor Society). Her paintings have won many awards in juried exhibitions that includes the Winsor Newton Award in NWS. Additionally, as a recognized portrait painter, her commissioned portraits hang at The Historical Museum in Galveston, TX., Galveston-Houston Dioceses, Baton Rouge Chancery, Baton Rouge, LA, in the Railroad Museum, Galveston, TX., St. Thomas High School and University Rice University, Houston, TX. Barbara taught painting for many years at the University of Houston in the Continuing Education department. The University of Houston is her alma mater. She now conducts workshops locally and in other states and is a recognized juror for many exhibitions
