Marsha Harris Solomon is a Past President and Signature Member of Watercolor Art Society-Houston. She is also a Signature Member of Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Georgia, Alabama and Arizona Watercolor Societies. She has lived in Houston and painted since childhood, and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Marsha has been affiliated with Archway Gallery for the past 16 years and has had eight one-woman shows there. She was on the WAS-H Watermedia 2000 Steering Committee, and in 2002 she presented a watercolor demo to the Lone Star Art Guild at their State Convention here. In 2003 her work was published in Watercolor Magic magazine, a national publication, and in ArtsHouston magazine in 2006. She currently teaches beginning watercolor at WAS-H (2006-9), and is frequently included in their juried exhibits.
