
My Tersk, my favorite horse
Carrie Hines graduated BFA from the Art Institute of Chicago, Illinois. She studied figure sculpture with Don Shaw and Mary Crady at Glassell, and bronze casting with David Parsons at Rice.
Some exhibitions participated in, past to present: Chicago and Vicinity Show, Art Institute of Chicago; Davis Gallery of Chicago; Mason City, Iowa Public Library (one man show); Art Center of St. John's, Newfoundland; Pollack Gallery of Toronto; River Oaks Gallery; Voorhees Gallery of Sarasota, Florida; currently with Watercolor Arts Society-Houston. Many of her illustrations have been published acompanying her short fiction and poetry in select literary journals. Some of her art reflects travel experiences to Versailles, London, Northern England, Mexico and Guatemala.
