"Joan E. Hughes (Joanie) has been a member of WASH since 1981. A native of the East Coast, her foundation in art comes from the University of Maryland and studies with professional artists in Colorado, Maryland, Florida, and Texas. While her media focus is watercolor, she also works in oils, acrylic, pastels, and pen and ink."
