Koi Fish Painting II

I was raised in the Pacific Northwest where I enjoyed nature and the wildlife there. My parents encouraged me with my art from a very early age.Watercolor paint and water can duplicate the softness of clouds, foggy mountains, flower petal gradations, and animal fur like no other medium I have found. To me, it is magic.I delight in seeing the color flow and infuse into the water and other colors on my paper. To me there is something spiritual and exciting about the way the pigment and water mix, settle, and dry to reach it's final visual appearance.
