A veteran of the watermedia genre, Jerry Wray began painting as a student at Newcomb College Art School at Tulane University in New Orleans where she earned a BFA. A Shreveport, Louisiana native, Jerry is one of the local art pioneers and has served as a leader in the art community for decades.
A dedicated teacher, Jerry instructs classes in her studio. She has shown her paintings in numerous regional and national groups, as well as in 28 solo exhibitions throughout the country in the last fifteen years. Her work hangs in six museums, several Fortune 500 companies, and many private collections including that of the King of Saudi Arabia.
