Major Exhibitions 2009-2010 EXHIBITIONS
In late spring the WAS-H Annual International Exhibition attracts entries from all over the globe. WAS-H signature membership opportunities originate from this exhibition. Nationally recognized jurors are invited to judge and select from entries the paintings to be exhibited.

Monthly Membership Shows
are featured at WAS-H's own gallery space, 1601 West Alabama in Houston's museum district near the Menil Collection. Members have an opportunity to submit work in watermedia each month, offering the community opportunity to view and purchase contemporary art. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 10am to 3pm. Juror: Glenn Bahm is a popular juror in the Houston area having judged many shows for LSAG associations. He has a BA in Fine Arts from Southeastern Louisiana University and has studied in major museums in the US and Europe. He paints primarily in oil in a style that reflects the Old Masters combined with Modern Masters.
July Student/Teacher Gallery Show

Juror: Larry Dyke specializes in oil landscapes. He has produced more that 100 limited editions and a number of open edition prints. Dyke’s art has hung in the White House and in the Vatican as well as the homes of famous personalities. See his work at www.larrydykeart.com. Read the Prospectus in the June-July Washrag
August Members' Monthly Gallery Show
No theme. Relaxed frame, mat, and surface restrictions.
