The WAS-H classroom & gallery are open at select times. Please read our COVID policy HERE prior to visiting in person. Our virtual classes and online shows continue, and are filled with opportunities for learning and exhibits.
In response to safety concerns regarding COVID-19, the Watercolor Art Society - Houston (WAS-H) has instituted safety and cleaning protocols to help ensure the safety of our members, guests, teachers, students, and staff (to be referred to as visitors). All visitors entering our building must comply with our COVID-19 safety policies as listed below. WAS-H reserves the right to amend or update these policies and procedures as necessary.
Face masks are mandatory in the WAS-H building. Visitors are required to have their temperatures scanned when entering the building. By registering for a class, a visitor is committing to wear a mask at all times in the WAS-H building and to follow all current and future safety measures. The number of visitors in the WAS-H building is limited to ensure social distancing can be maintained. Visitors are asked to monitor themselves in regard to social distancing and sickness and are expected to consider the health of themselves and others before entering the building. The building will be cleaned and sanitized more frequently to ensure the safety of visitors.
