Capturing the connection between the human eye, the human hand and the human heart is the basis for much of art. Open to all levels, this course will cover drawing basics by exploring still lives, landscape and the figure. Participants will, through various exercises and assignments, master gesture drawing, contour drawing, the use of negative space, volume, sighting, shading, hatching and cross hatching, blending, and value.
