Plein Air Painting - The Waterworks at Sabine Street

Kathleen Church, Facilitator
kechurch@mac.com

Do you love painting outdoors, in "plein air?"  Painters will meet on Tuesday, April 6th at the The Water Works at Sabine Street from 10am to 1pm.

Meet up in front of The Water Works in Buffalo Bayou Park, at 105 Sabine Street. This popular entry point into the park offers limited parking. There is plenty of spots nearby to set up to paint, including access to trails and Sabine Street Bridge.

A complete map can be found here, Buffalo Bayou Trail-Map.pdf

This is a casual meeting of WAS-H members who want to paint outdoors. Please observe social distancing, and location rules. Register to receive updates about the event, and so the coordinator has an idea of who to be on the look out for. There is no fee or instruction, just come to paint and have fun.

Supplies:

Bring the supplies you can comfortably carry, and a lightweight stool. Some like to paint in their laps on a block or in a sketchbook. Check out suggested supplies from these seasoned plein air painters.
