Learn to create loose, gestural, colorful watercolor flowers with plants. This is great practice for both studio and plein air painting. Suitable for any skill level; accomplished drawing skills not necessary.

Level: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced Supply List: Watercolors An array of flowers, twigs, grass & leaves—use what you have available. Borrow from neighbors, from nearby walkways, etc. Brushes: a mop or quill + a few small brushes Sketchbook size paper—9 x 12 or ¼ sheets up to 16 x 20 or ½ sheets Watercolor or Inktense pencils (optional) Soapy water in a small basin Cloths or paper towels
