This will be a fun class for all levels. I will demo for an hour or so and then let you paint for the remainder of the class. Bring a print of simple image to paint. Do not work from your phone!
Yupo is a plastic paper that acts a bit different than traditional paper. Don’t worry about your paint drying 20% lighter on Yupo. Because the paint isn’t absorbed into the paper, you get wonderful color intensity. You can get nice gradients soft edges with the right wet and wet application. If you forgot to save your whites, just lift them out with a brush or paper towel. Forget what you learned about traditional watercolor application and go with the flow on Yupo.
