Immerse yourself in the vibrant world of watercolor flower painting! This class is designed to help you unlock the beauty and versatility of flowers through the magic of watercolor. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, you’ll learn how to create stunning floral artwork that bursts with color and life.


In this class, you will explore:

  • The fundamentals of watercolor techniques like washes, wet-on-wet, and layering.
  • How to paint different types of flowers, from bold blooms to delicate petals.
  • Techniques for blending colors, creating texture, and capturing light and shadow.
  • Step-by-step guidance to help you achieve fluid, expressive flowers with depth and movement.

By the end of the class, you’ll have the confidence to create your own beautiful watercolor flower paintings, ready to bloom on paper with vibrant color and graceful form!

Affordable, student-grade supplies are perfectly suitable.

  • Watercolor Paper: Arches 140 lb (300 gsm) Cold-Pressed
  • Graphite Pencils: HB, 2B (preferable)
  • Round Brushes: Size #6 to #10 (synthetic or natural)
  • Flat Wash Brush: 3/4 inch (for laying larger washes)
  • Light weight Drawing Board 
  • Watercolor Paints
  • Palette: White ceramic or plastic mixing palette
  • Paper Towels or Cotton Rag
  • Eraser – masking tape
