Learn realism proficiency and control for your paintings. Design elements will be conveyed as well as methods to work from your photographic reference. Daily demos, with step-by-step explanations of the concepts and techniques will be provided. Students work with their own subject matter or instructor’s images. Students should bring 5-10 photos of subjects they are interested in painting. Choice of paintable subject will match skill level. Details for incorporating elements of realism will be taught and demonstrated. Within the workshop each person’s goals will be identified so their achievements may be met.
