Participants will be encouraged to follow Mark as he illustrates his techniques and leads the class through three separate evening demonstrations. Each participant will develop their own painting in each of three sessions while being guided and encouraged by Mark’s input and real time demonstration.
Mark will provide the subject prompts which will be a variety of landscape subjects that will include architecture or water features. The paintings will be no larger than 12”x16” to allow for a satisfying attempt at the many varieties of techniques to produce textural effects necessary for a successful landscape painting. He will also broaden each participant’s understanding of perspective drawing and its value to producing a successful watercolor.
