Water plays a crucial role in Chinese landscape painting. Contrasted with still, sturdy mountains, the flowing and shapeless water presents myriad aspects, such as a calm river, awe-inspiring waterfalls, slender streams, robust oceans, small lakes. In this session you will learn the techniques of brushwork. The instructor demonstrates each technique. Students receive individual attention adapted to their particular skill levels and interests. All levels.
