Spring has sprung! What better subject to celebrate the season? Let's study the structure, the strength and shapes of individual flowers, so that we can simplify them in our paintings. Then we will use that simplicity to our advantage and leap into composition, color and energy of this subject matter. We will work on exercises together, and explore possibilities with your own photos.

Just bring regular supplies like your palette, tubes of paint including gouache, brushes and good quality paper, pencil, eraser, sponges and paper towels, and maybe masking fluid, masking tape.
