  • Member Registration
  • One monitor per class will receive discount in exchange for helping teacher with specific tasks. Registration code is given to those who have completed the training class.
  • Non-member fee is an additional $10.00 per day

BEGINNER LANDSCAPES AND SEASCAPES - Robert Ruhmann

Come learn about landscapes and seascapes from this award-winning artist. Robert Ruhmann graduated from the University of Houston in 1991 with a degree in graphic communications.  Robert discovered fine art after graduating from college and has been creating paintings ever since.  He has participated in many art festivals throughout Texas.  Robert uses watercolors, oils, and acrylics.  His favorite medium is watercolor.  He loves to paint landscapes, rock formations, and seascapes. You might have seen him demonstrate his techniques of painting rocks and cliffs at a recent Paint-in.

  • Watercolor Paints:

Lemon Yellow, Yellow Ochre, Raw Sienna, Sap Green, Van Dyke Brown, Cobalt Blue, Cerulean Blue, Crimson Red

  • Mixing Tray or Plate
  • 2 Sheets of Watercolor Paper, 22" X 30"
  • Watercolor Brushes - bring whatever you have (prefer Simmons @ Texas Art Supply, but any brand is o.k.)
  • Water Container
  • Natural Sponge
  • Photograph of Landscape
  • Paper Towels or Toilet Tissue

  • Watercolor Board
  • Toothbrush
