  • One monitor per class will receive discount in exchange for helping teacher with specific tasks. Registration code is given to those who have completed the training class.
  • Non-member registration fee is an additional $10.00 per day

This summer the Museum of Fine Arts will host an exhibit, "Monet to Matisse: Impressionism to Modernism from the Bemberg Foundation." Caroline Graham will motivate us to learn more about  Matisse's techniques and inspiration, as well as to experiment with the skills we can bring to our own paintings.  Preliminary plans include exercises using color, shape, and pattern, and both still life and figures as subject matter.
All levels.


Supply list -- your usual painting supplies

  • your watercolors and brushes
  • Arches 140lb. paper
  • your iPhone/ smartphone
  • your photos for practicing these techniques
  • paper towels
