IN PERSON - Compose Not Copy: Transforming reference photos into dynamic paintings
Linda Southern Vanek Friday, September 10 9:30am -3:30pm $75 members/$85 non-members As artists, we often have impressive reference photos, but our paintings often lack the inspiration we felt when we rely on the photo alone. In this class you will edit reference photos of distracting and unnecessary details and create more dynamic compositions. You will learn how to shift from painting the photo to an artistic expression of your subject so that the viewer experiences the beautiful journey that first inspired you to paint your story!
