This workshop combines mindfulness techniques with watercolor to explore the self and create something joyful. This class can be taken multiple times since the emphasis is on your process rather than a perfect end product.

What to expect:

1. We will begin with a check-in mindfulness exercise to choose the colors you’d like to use for your project.

2. Brief discussion on mindfulness, thoughts, and watercolor 

3. Intuition development exercise

4. Project steps

a. Taping paper

b. Background washes

c. Circle stencil and bokeh

d. Strokes for bubbles

e. Metallic and bleedproof white accents

f. Detail sparkles and dots

5. Start larger sheet if there’s time

6. Close with relaxation exercise

*Note: This class is not a substitute for therapy from a licenced psychologist. We will be going over mindfulness principles in an educational-type setting and in application to watercolor, but I encourage everyone to seek personal therapy for deeper exploration.
