IN PERSON - Expressive Color
Carla Gauthier Saturday & Sunday July 23 & 24 9:30am - 3:30pm $150 members/$170 non-members Color is the way we bring personality to our art – vibrant and eye-catching, dark and dramatic, sunny and cheerful, soft and suggestive. The problem can be that our brain cannot separate local color (blue sky, red apple, green grass) from the endless possibilities without a nudge sometimes. We will examine the emotion of color, do some exercises that push you out of your comfort zone, and leave with some color combinations that allow you to learn from others and grow in your pursuit of expressive color choices.
