Level: Novice, Beginner, and Intermediate Getting the right color doesn’t have to be a bundle of trial and error. With a bit of knowledge about pigments and their characteristics, we can develop an instinct for efficiently and accurately mixing color. There will be focus on the important and universal role of mixtures formed from primaries, with evaluation on how other tube colors relate in the spectrum. We will explore the warming, cooling, and neutralizing of hues, as well as tinting and shading techniques that maintain richness of chroma... Or not... The point is we’re in control!
