Level: Beginner and Intermediate If you’re like me you enjoy a good camping trip or bbq. A good fire pit makes the experience more special! Painting this subject is an excellent way to push the boundaries of dark values that mask and enhance the warm and luminous energy. In this workshop we will learn to employ a loose and controlled combination of washes that capture the fleeting gesture of a dancing flame. Aside from its shape, fire has a variety of warm and cool elements that express the interior temperature. Layer by layer, we will build an image worthy of pulling out the guitar!
