Want to learn the basic techniques used to create beautiful portraits of your favorite dogs and Cats with watercolor? This class is for you!

Dr Bhatti will begin with a demonstration. Students will pick a reference photo and begin their own journey.

Dr. Bhatti’s demo will show you some techniques to make painting your pet fun. You’ll work with a loose brush and apply your understanding of light and shade and using values to make your painting pop. While this class is appropriate for the beginner, intermediate and advanced painters will also benefit.

Level: Beginner, Intermediate

Supply List:

Graphite Pencils: HB, 2B (preferable)

Watercolor brushes (#02 to #06 natural squirrel hair preferred)

A set of Watercolor paint of your choice, palette, (all related material)

140 Lb arches 22x30" sheet (cut in quarters) or pads 10” x 15”

Light weight Drawing Board

Eraser – masking tape – sharpener – etc
