IN PERSON - Valentine's Chocolate Tasting + Painting

In this special evening, you will be tasting six different types of artisan chocolate and using watercolor as a way to represent what you taste in each of the samples. Like coffee or wine, cacao beans have a unique flavor depending on where they are grown, how they are fermented, roasted, and ground into the delicious treat we call chocolate. In this workshop you will learn how chocolate is made, its connection with art, taste six different artisan chocolate samples, and get to explore the taste through painting the flavor(s) you notice. Exploring the flavors in this way can help you notice more subtle flavor profiles of your food experience and remember them better afterwards. The evening is planned as follows: 1. Welcome 2.
