Learn to paint dynamic, colorful, figures and portraits under the guidance of an accomplished expert. Based on an intimate dance of light and color, Ken will show you how to bring your paintings to life while using your own personal vision and experiences. Comprehensive portrait and figure painting will be featured in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. You will have the opportunity to work with your own personal favorite subject matter as well as reference photos provided by the instructor.
All painting levels are welcome -- basic, intermediate and advanced.
Day 1: Bring your own reference to paint - any subject matter (landscapes, flowers, people, etc.) This will allow Ken to see your painting style and process so he can tailor his instruction on subsequent days by taking this into consideration.
Day 2: Ken will supply reference photos of people. Students will paint from the teacher's reference.
Day 3: Bring your own photo (portrait or figures). Ken will start with a demonstration and then will provide one-on-one feedback with students

The following pictures are the demos and the paint along (twisted lady). Any of these can be painted along with Ken. Please have the photos that you intend to work on (twisted lady as well as your own photos) completely drawn ahead of time.
