Learn to paint flowers and floral groupings using watercolor. We will focus on technique, color values and composition. Painting flowers is a unique experience. Each flower is different! Using flat and pointed brushes, we will blend color and obtain soft edges where needed. You may also bring tracing paper to transfer your favorite images. This class is appropriate for the beginner and intermediate student, however, advanced students will also be able to hone their skills.
Supply List:
Graphite Pencils: HB, 2B perferable.
WC Brushes (natural squirrel hair preferred.)
WC paints - your choice of colors
Pallet to hold/mix paints
Paper: 140 lb Arches 1/4 size paper
Light weight drawing board
Masking Tape
Eraser and Sharpener
Bring your own photos of flowers to use in the class.
